Welcome to Ryan Elementary STEAM School!

We are a strong community school where students, staff, family, and community partners are highly engaged in preparing our students today for an uncharted tomorrow. Our school staff is focused on delivering a 21st century high quality standards-based education to every child, every day.

Our staff and our community work together to enrich the Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum with extended opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Our school is a welcome place where all students and staff learn, contribute, and grow together.

  • SMART Boards, Digital Cameras, and 3D projectors in every classroom
  • A character education program based on Positive Behavior Support
  • Science Enrichment Class to extend learning opportunities throughout the day
  • Excellent instruction in the arts from award-winning teachers
  • Dedicated weekly technology/computer lab time at every grade level – PK-5
  • Outdoor Science Classroom where Environmental Education is hands-on and inquiry-based
  • Awarded a $50,000 technology grant in May 2011
  • $3 Million Bond Renovation Project – Completed August 2011
  • Organizational structures which support teachers in having data-informed conversations about learning and instruction as it directly relates to student achievement and well-being
  • Outdoor Learning Garden to be installed in February 2012
  • Center-based program serving students with autism
  • Dedicated TAG and RTI enrichment and support
  • Mathematicians and scientists in residence who share state-of-the-art learning and best practice with our students
  • Community learning partners including The University of Colorado at Boulder, Thorne Ecological Institute, Exempla Hospital, the Community Medical Center, and many more
