Our staff believes that experiential, hand-on, and small group instruction are keys to student success. Therefore, we partner with organizations, like the University of Colorado and Thorne Ecological Institute, to support our teachers with the resources to make the curriculum meaningful, relevant, engaging, and accessible for every student, every day.
Our partnership with the University of Colorado at Boulder brings a team of 20+ practicum students to our school on Wednesdays to work with students in small groups across the content areas, and especially in math. Thorne Ecological Institute partners with our school to deliver environmental standards-based science lessons integrated with literacy to each of our classes in three lessons culminating with the publication of class-authored mini-books integrating digital technology.
